Brownwood Emergency responders were called to the scene of an accident at the City of Brownwood Service Center on Hwy 377S in Brownwood late Wednesday morning.

Shortly before 11:30 AM, a City of Brownwood Freightliner dump truck was flipped on its side as it attempted to enter the city service center, spilling its load of dirt onto a grassy area of the parking lot.  There was also oil leaking from the truck’s engine after the truck overturned.

The driver of the truck was not injured according to first responders on scene.  The cause of the accident was being investigated according to police.

Brownwood Police Department, Brownwood Fire Department, Guardian EMS and several city crews responded to the scene.
