Drive4URSchoolLogoBig Country Ford brought Ford Motor Company’s Drive 4 UR School program to the Brownwood community in an effort to help area schools raise up to $6000 for their Project Graduations. For every person who test-drove a new ford vehicle at Commerce Square Saturday, October 5th, Big Country Ford and Ford Motor Company donated $20 to the school of the driver’s choice. The funds will go to help fund project graduation, an alcohol and drug free celebration for graduating seniors.

Thanks to those in the community who took time to come out, test drive and support the event.

Brownwood Project Graduation 2014 President Kristi Owen offered the following letter of thanks to those who made the event possible:

On behalf of PG-BHS-2014, I would like to thank Big Country Ford for allowing us the opportunity to have a successful fundraising event (Drive 4UR School).

I would also like to thank Guardian EMS for donating all the supplies for our hamburger lunch plate! Not only did they donate the entire fixings but they cooked them too!

Also a big thank you to Sonic for donating the condiments for our hamburgers.

Last but not least, this wouldn’t have been a success without the help from the Class of 2014 Parents and Seniors for volunteering time and other supplies.

-Mrs. Kristi Owen, BHS Project Graduation 2014 President
