Grand Jury Indictments September 2013

BrownCountyDistrictCourtLogoDistrict Attorney Micheal Murray reports during the September 2013 session of the Brown County Grand Jury, 28 indictments were returned against 21 people.

The District Attorney’s office does not release names on new indictments until after the Grand Jury proceedings have been processed through the District Clerk’s office.  Also, names are not released of those indicted but not yet arrested due to an indictment being sealed until the time of the arrest.

Joseph Ryan Garrett: Possession of a Controlled Substance

Brent Mears: Driving While Intoxicated with Child Passenger

Mariana Cintron Ramirez: Driving While Intoxicated with Child Passenger

Justin Daniell: Burglary of a Habitation, Repeat Offender; Burglary of a Vehicle; Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse; Burglary of a Habitation Repeat Offender.

Christopher Delarosa: Abandoning or Endangering a Child; Possession of a Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone.

Colin David Matthews: Unlawful Possession of a Firearm; three counts Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon, Repeat Offender; and Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence, Repeat Offender.

George Alford Ford: Theft – Enhanced, State Jail Felony Enhancement; Theft over $1500 under $20,000, State Jail Felony Enhancement.

Nathan Blake Gonzales: Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence.

Karen Leigh Dempsey AKA Karen Leigh Davis: Driving While Intoxicated.   (Note:  Not Karen Dempsey who is employed with BISD).

Julia Olvera Vargas: Two Counts Driving While Intoxicated with Child Passenger.
