GladdenMaryJoFuneral services for Mary Jo Gladden, age 81, of Lake Brownwood, formerly of Lubbock, will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 28, 2013 in the Abbey Chapel of Resthaven Funeral Home in Lubbock.  Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery.

Mrs. Gladden passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family.

Mary Jo was born on March 14, 1932 in Ralls to James and Fleeta Bell (West) Hamilton.

She was raised in Lubbock and worked for Sears and in real estate and attended Sunset Church of Christ.  Mary Jo married Jerry Gladden on February 28, 1986.  They moved to Lake Brownwood in 1990.

Mary Jo is survived by her husband, Jerry of Lake Brownwood, a daughter, Teresa Headlee of Alvin; four sons, L. D. Cunningham, Jr. and wife Oleane of Katy, Joe Neil Cunningham of Waller, James Russell Cunningham and wife Debra of Lubbock, and Donald Dewayne Cunningham of Austin; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Deborah Cunningham.
