Early Chamber Luncheon Set for Friday

rooneyThe Early Chamber of Commerce will hold their monthly luncheon this Friday, September 27, 2013 at 11:30 AM at Prima Pasta Italian Restaurant – 210 Early Blvd, Early, TX .

This month’s speaker is Jim Rooney whose presentation is titled “Applying Reverse Logic in Business Operations.”

Jim is the founder and President of People Smart Tools, a management consulting company that specializes in helping people work well with people.

People Smart Tools provides coaching and learning programs that develop workplace interpersonal communication skills and help managers improve their influence with those they supervise.

Jim earned a Master’s Degree in Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Colorado (Western State Campus).

He has three certifications from Target Training International: Certified Professional Behavior Analyst (CPBA), Certified Professional Values Analyst (CPVA), and the TriMetrix coaching and employee selection designations. These certifications require training updates before renewal every two years. He is a professional member of the National Speakers Association.

Jim’s published educational and training materials include the “Managers Best Practices Toolkit”, “107 Proven Workplace Relationship Strategies”, “Five Steps to Creating a Customer Stampede”, “Thinking Outside the Box–An Exercise in Reverse Logic” and since 2004 a published monthly eZine “The People Smart Toolbox.”

Luncheon sponsors include Brownwood Regional Medical Center, the Breeze 96.9 and Newstalk 102.3.
