Rising Star Volunteer Fire Department to Host Dove Fest September 7

DoveFest2013EntertainersRising Star Volunteer Fire Department will host their annual Dove Fest featuring music, raffles and a brisket tack dinner on Saturday, September 7th at the Rising Star Market Building.

Country music artist Justin Trevino will provide live musical entertainment, along with performances by Elvis and Jackie Bibby “The Texas Snake Man.”  Doors open at 5:00 p.m.

A raffle of four guns will include an Escort Magnum 12 gauge with camo covering and 5 chokes; a Browning X-Bolt 25-06; a Sig-Saur .45 semi-automatic; and a Panther Arms DPMS 223 AR-15.  Tickets are available for each firearm and cost $5 each or 5 tickets for $20.

Raffle tickets will be sold at the festival and are available from Rising Star Volunteer Firefighters and at the Runaway Train Café in Brownwood.
