Robert J. Perry

PerryRobertJRobert J. Perry was born Dec. 18, 1927, to Carl J. and Ruby Perry in Burnet County, Texas.  Robert went to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, Aug. 26, 2013.

Robert is survived by his wife, Frances; his three children, Danny Perry and his wife Lavon; and daughters, Evelyn Curry and Ruth Spearman; one brother, Pete Perry of Washington State; and sister, Carla Riley and husband Mike. Robert is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Delbert Perry; a daughter, Lenora Kay White, and one granddaughter, Tonya Curry.

Robert retired from the Brownwood Fire Dept. after 27 years at the rank of Assistant Chief. He later retired from his second career with the Brownwood ISD after ten years. Robert was a long time Deacon with the Hillcrest Baptist Church. He leaves behind many wonderful friends.

Visitation for Robert will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, at Davis-Morris Funeral Home, 800 Center Avenue, Brownwood, Texas. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel at Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early, Texas.
