Brownwood reunion logoThe 2013 Brownwood Reunion Celebration is only about a month away and organizers are getting all of the competitions, attractions, and events prepared for the big weekend of September 20-22.

One popular event during Reunion is the Feels Like Home Grand Parade which will wind through part of downtown Brownwood and through the festival on Saturday, September 21st at 10 AM.    Cash prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place entries for best theme which is “Lights, Camera, Action.”

Line-up for the parade will start at 8:45 AM at the tent by Trans Texas Tire.   The fee to enter the parade is $10.00 per entry if registered by September 7th.  The late entry fee of $20 will be charged after that date.

Entry forms are available at the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce at 600 E. Depot Street or online at CelebrateBrownwood.com.  Forms may be returned to the Chamber office with payment.  Online registration is also available HERE.

This year’s parade is sponsored and organized by Southside Church and will be televised on KTXS.

This year’s Brownwood Reunion Celebration will be held September 20, 21, and 22.  The community-wide festival features a variety of contests, events, attractions, music, and food in addition to the main concerts.
