The Heart of Texas Friends of NRA joined the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce and participated in a ribbon cutting Tuesday, August 6th at the Brownwood Chamber office. The Heart of Texas Friends of NRA is a local nonprofit organization that supports shooting sports, hunter safety programs as well as educational events, wildlife conservation and marksmanship training.

The Heart of Texas Friends of NRA will hold its first Heart of Texas Friends of NRA Banquet on Friday, August 9 at Brownwood Coliseum.  The event will kick off at 6 PM and offer night of food, fun, fellowship, firearms, and fundraising for the future of shooting.  Numerous auction items will also be available.
