Central Texas Gospel Sing and First Baptist Church of Bangs will continue their 14th year of bringing Southern Gospel music to the Brown County area by presenting their quarterly concert on Saturday, July 27th.  The event will be at First Baptist Church of Bangs and will begin at 6:00 PM.   Admission is free with a love offering taken.

The award winning group Paul’s Journey from Houston, Texas will be featured. “Entertaining, uplifting, and ministry minded” are often used to describe Paul’s Journey.

In 2012, they were nominated for the 2012 “Horizon Group of the Year” by fans all across the United States. Having sung on the main stage at the National Quartet Convention for the last three years, they were recently nominated for the New Traditional Quartet in the 2013 Singing News Fan awards and have been featured on Paul Heil’s Gospel Greats several times.   They can be heard regularly on Solid Gospel radio.   From up-tempo songs to heartfelt ballads, audiences of all generations enjoy the fresh sounds of this high energy group.

Other local Southern Gospel artists including Leesa Stephens and Stacy Walker, In His Name and Pure Grace will also perform.
