Landowners and Ag producers who are interested in obtaining their private pesticide applicator’s license from the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) will have the opportunity to do so on Tuesday August 13, 2013 in Brownwood, Texas.

The required training will begin with registration at 8:30a.m. and conclude at noon. There will be a TDA representative available at 1:00 p.m. to administer the examination. The training/testing will be held at the Brown County Fairgrounds Youth Fair Barn located on HWY 377 South. It is being conducted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service offices in Brown, Mills, and San Saba counties.

There is a $60 registration fee payable at the door on August 13th. This fee will cover the required training and the two study books. Pre-registration is requested in order to provide study books. To pre-register contact the Brown County Office at 325-646-0386.
