Surrounded by her family, Ofilia Torrez Martinez, age 77, peacefully ascended into Heaven to begin her eternal life on July 13, 2013.
A Rosary will be held at Davis-Morris Funeral Home, Monday July 15, 2013, at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Tuesday July 16, 013, 1:00 PM, with burial to follow at Greenleaf Cemetery.
Ofilia was born to Isabel and Jesusa Torrez, March 8, 1936 in Brownwood, Texas.

Left behind to cherish her memory are; Companion, Gumercindo De Leon of Brownwood; four sons Raul T. Martinez and wife Hortencia of Brownwood, Fernando T. Martinez and wife Dolores of Austin, Rudy T. Martinez of Brownwood, Gilbert T. Martinez of Brownwood and one daughter Diane Mendoza and husband Samuel of Brownwood; six grandchildren Michael Martinez, Monica Armas, Melissa Garza, Gina Suarez, Samuel Fito Mendoza and Gilbert Mendoza.

She is also survived by six great grandchildren; three brothers, Joe Torrez of Granbury, Isabel Torrez of Irving, Jessie Torrez of Brownwood, and one sister, Irene Salazar of Brownwood. She is also survived by best friend and father of her children, Adolfo D. Martinez of Brownwood, as well as, beloved pet companion “Samantha”.
