The Early Police Department is seeking a suspect in an early morning armed robbery of a convenience store.

According to Chief David Mercer, at approximately 1:13 AM this morning (07/12/2013) a male subject went into Food Plaza at 1300 Early Blvd armed with a dark colored semi-automatic handgun. The suspect held the clerk at gunpoint and left with an undetermined amount of cash and cigarettes from the store.

The male suspect was wearing a black or dark blue hoodie and pants, possibly a red shirt and white rimmed sunglasses and a blue bandana with white designs on the bandana.
