The Brown County Water Improvement District #1 hired a new Lake Patrol officer recently who was sworn in Tuesday night.

John Windham has 22 years of law enforcement experience.  He comes to Brownwood from the Clyde Police Department and previously served as sheriff for Callahan County.

Windham will start his duties as Lake Patrol officer on July 18th.   He was hired to replace an officer who recently resigned.
