Funeral Services for Jane Key, age 84, of May, Texas will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the Heartland Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the May Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.  Mrs. Key passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Scott & White Hosptial in Temple.

Eris Frances Jane Key was born on August 15, 1928 in Sherwood, Texas to Edgar Wilburn and Flossie Noblitt Keegan.  On August 15, 1947 she married Richard Field Key in Sherwood.  She worked in the healthcare field at the old Brownwood Hospital and also the Texas Health Department in Austin.   Mrs. Key was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include her children Susan Michaelis and husband Jimmie of Anchorage, Alaska, Lloyd Key and wife Kris of Canandaigua, New York, David Key and wife Robin of Austin, Texas, Elizabeth Wise and husband Don of Cedar Park, Texas; one sister Hope Carlson of Waco, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Richard Key and one daughter Claudia Cutler.
