It was announced today by Howard Payne University Director of Athletics Mike Jones that Troy Drummond will now serve as the Assistant Director of Athletics for Operations along with his duties as HPU men’s basketball coach.

“We are excited to promote Troy Drummond to the Assistant Director of Athletics for Operations,” said Mike Jones HPU Director of Athletics. “He is a true servant and would do anything to help anyone. He has served our department in many ways and is well suited for this position. I am pleased that he has agreed to join my administrative team.”

Troy Drummond will work with the Director of Athletics and all head coaches on facility needs for all home contests. He will assist in preparation of facilities for all home contests.

“I would like to thank Coach Jones, Dr. Ellis and Dr. Marsh for this exciting opportunity,” said Troy Drummond. “I am grateful and looking forward to proudly serving Howard Payne University in this capacity. I feel it an honor to be a part HPU.”

Troy will also assist in the organization of the annual HPU Sports Hall of Fame golf tournament and Sports Hall of Fame banquet.
