Youth of the Milton Avenue Baptist Church held a very successful brisket fundraiser on Saturday, June 8th and wanted to thank the community for its support.

According to their pastor, Ellis Villarreal, the group was able to raise about $1500.  Organizers stated that 13 briskets were cooked and the fundraiser was a sell out.

Thanks also is given to Mr. Joe Constanzia who cooked all of the briskets and to Abraham Delgado, the youth minister at Milton Avenue Baptist Church.

The youth group is working to raise funds to send approximately 15 youth to summer camp in July.  The cost to send each camper is $200.  The fundraiser was able to help on a large portion of that goal.
