LECSmLaw enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, June 14, 2013.

Wednesday, June 12

*9:31 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding a runaway juvenile.  According to the report, the complainant advised that her daughter ran away from home this morning.

*12:23 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the Law Enforcement Center regarding identification theft.  According to the report, an unknown subject had been using her name, date of birth and social security number to file tax returns since 2009.

Thursday, June 13

*1:18 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of LaMonte Drive regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, some unknown suspect backed into her vehicle and fled the scene without leaving the required information.

*5:04 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center regarding an assault.

*6:13 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding child visitation.  According to the report, the complainant wished to file a report on his ex-wife for refusing to allow him to visit his children.

*8:23 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to County Road 180  regarding a missing license plate from a trailer.

*9:56 PM – Brownwood Police, while on patrol, noticed a farm truck make a turn without signaling.  A stop was made in the area of Austin and Parkway, which led to the arrest of the driver, 18-year-old Jeffery Beck, for driving while license invalid.

*Brownwood Police arrested 17-year-old Hallie Shae Crouch on a warrant for theft.

*Bangs Police arrested 37-year-old Jack David Howard of Valera for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Bangs Police arrested 20-year-old Whitney Deshawn Landheart of Houston on a Lake Jackson Police Department warrant related to theft.

*Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to FM 2632 at the Feather Bay Golf Course regarding an assault.  The deputy arrested 69-year-old Michael Charles Nelson of Early for assault causes bodily injury.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
