Memorial services for Randy Clark Huestis of Brownwood, Texas, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013, in the Country Bible Church in Taft, Texas.

Mr. Huestis passed away Monday, June, 10, 2013, at his home at Lake Brownwood.

He was born June 4, 1953, in Sinton, Texas, to Sonley and Bette Buland Huestis. He was a member of the Country Bible Church in Taft, Texas, he and his wife were currently attending the Rocky Creek Baptist Church at Lake Brownwood. On Jan. 22, 1977, Randy and Brenda Jenkins were married in Corpus Christi, Texas. They have lived in the Brownwood area for the past eight years. Randy was a professional hunting and fishing guide. He was a graduate of Taft High School and Southwest Texas University where he met his wife Brenda. Randy was an outstanding athlete at Taft High School and played on one of Taft’s most noted teams that went to State Basketball finals.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Jenkins Huestis of Lake Brownwood; daughter, Kendra Huestis of Brownwood; son, Ike Huestis of Brownwood; his brother, Nick Huestis of Austin, Texas; and a sister, Paula and husband Charles L. Mayo of Taft, Texas. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Rocky Creek Baptist Church Men’s Ministry.
