Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3278 and the Ladies’ & Men’s Auxiliary will observe the week of Flag Day by joining with Cub Scout Pack 22 in a flag retirement ceremony.  The observance will be held at VFW Post 3278, 2300 Stephen F. Austin, (north side of the Post), Monday, 6:00 PM, June 10th.

The ceremony will be conducted in accordance with the US Code Flag Retirement procedures.

The public is invited to attend and bring their lawn chairs to observe. The ceremony lasts around 30 minutes according to VFW officials.

The VFW will also present a $500 donation to the JROTC Leadership Camp being held at HPU this week.
