Reminder: Advance Tickets Still Available for 50th Annual Brown County Rodeo

2013BCRodeoPosterThe 50th Annual Brown County Rodeo will kick off Thursday, June 6th and will continue through Saturday, June 8th at the Earl Q. Wilson arena at the Brown County Fair Grounds just off Hwy 377 South, and advance tickets are now on sale.

The rodeo will open each night at 8:00 p.m.  Entertainment will be provided by rodeo clown Backflip Johnny as well as the Cowgirl Chicks.  The announcer will be T.C. Long, and rodeo stock contractor is Terry Walls.

Advance tickets are $8 each for adults and $3 for kids.  At the gate, tickets will be $10 for adults and $5 for kids.  Advance tickets are available at Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce, Citizens National Bank, all TexasBank locations, Scotts Western Wear, Harry’s, Diamond R Grocery, and KOXE.

Contestants from all over will be at the rodeo including past and present world champions according to rodeo officials.

The 50th Annual Brown County Rodeo Parade will take place on Saturday, June 8th at 10am in Downtown Brownwood.   Rodeo parade line-up will be at 8:30 a.m. at the Brownwood Coliseum with judging of entries at 9:30 a.m.  Entry forms for the parade are available at the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce or online at http://www.browncountyfairandrodeo.com.

The Brown County Rodeo dance will close out rodeo week on June 8th at the Brownwood Coliseum.  This year’s dance will feature The Remains and Reckless Kelly.  Dance tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, with no cooler charge. Doors open for the dance at 8pm. Advance tickets for the dance are also available at Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce, Citizens National Bank, all TexasBank locations, Scotts Western Wear, Harry’s, Diamond R Grocery, and KOXE.
