RossPat Ross, “Poppy”, 80, of May, Tx passed away on Friday, April 26, 2013.

Pat was born to Clay and Clarissa Ross on February 1, 1933 in Dundee, Tx.  He was the youngest of 7 children.  Pat married Tenia Adams on September 24, 1953 in Vernon, Tx.  He was preceded in death by his wife Tenia on September 25, 2011 after 57 years of marriage.  He was retired from Walsh & Watts Oil Company after 40 years of service.

Pat loved spending time with his family and friends at their home on Lake Brownwood. He enjoyed fishing, dancing and working outdoors.  Pat always looked forward to holidays and trips with his much loved wife and family. His children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were very dear to his heart. The family has many wonderful memories of him as a fun loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Survivors include; His daughters and son-in-law; Kim and Jim Harden, of Fritch, Tx and Robin Ross of Weatherford, Tx.  Grandchildren and their spouses; Maleah and Max Johnston, Ryan and Ryan Purcell, Cody and Nicole Harden and Wendy Harden and Colby Cooper.  Great grandchildren include; Molly Beth and Madeleine Johnston, Gage, Ty and Keeli Purcell and Cooper Harden. Surviving sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws; Beth and Sid Williams of California, JoPat and Ronnie Laudermilk of Jolly, Tx and Cletus Schenk of Scotland, Tx.  He is preceded in death by his parents Clay and Clarissa Ross, his wife; Tenia, his brothers; Weldon, Joe, Dave and Cotton and sisters Vera Pearl and Mary Ellen, sister in-laws Bobby Morton, Dama Schenk and brother in-law Charles Adams.

A private wake will be held at a later date. His body was cremated under the direction of Minton Funeral Home of Fritch.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to be sent to Crown of Texas Foundation for Hospice Care of the Southwest, 6600 Kilgore Dr. Ste 110, Amarillo, Tx 79106.

The family would like to thank family, friends and Borger Home Health Care nursing staff for their kindness, cards and loving support.
