Friday, May 10

*9:52 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding fraud.   According to the report, the complainant stated that some unknown suspect has compromised his bank account and has been stealing money from it.

*10:33 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Calvert.  According to the report, during a joint investigation with the Department of Homeland Security and Brownwood Police, contact was made with a student at Brownwood Middle School regarding the online solicitation of a minor.

*5:00 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the burglary of a habitation in the 2300 block of Austin Avenue.  According to the report, an unknown subject burglarized the complainant’s residence and medication was stolen.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Tommy Lee Kinsey on a warrant for his arrest related to burglary of a habitation.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Bobby Wayne Michalski, Jr. of Early on two warrants related to theft and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

*Early Police arrested 18-year-old Trevolia Jaleel Rudd for evading arrest/detention.

Saturday, May 11

*11:06 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant regarding identity theft.  According to the report, unknown suspect(s) used the complainant’s social security number to file tax returns for the years 2011 and 2012.

*12:53 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Avenue B regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her common law husband stole 24 of her hydrocodone pills.

*3:52 PM – Brownwood Police received a report of a runaway juvenile in the 1600 block of 18th Street.

*4:26 PM – Brownwood Police received a report of an intoxicated subject who had left the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room walking toward Crockett Drive.  According to the report, the responding officer was able to locate the subject, later identified as Billy Gene Christensen, Sr.,  in the 3700 block of Hwy 377S, at the parking lot of a convenience store.  Due to the level of his intoxication posing a danger to himself, Christensen was arrested and charged with public intoxication, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Lindsey Michelle Buzbee of May for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1A less than 20AU and tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair investigation.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old George Alford Ford of Coleman for tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair investigation, possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1A less than 20AU, and on a Coleman County warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.  Ford is currently being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $67,500.

*Bangs Police arrested 29-year-old James Henry Turner II for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.

Sunday, May 12

*12:00 AM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding a hit and run.  According to the report, the complainant reported his car was backed into in the store’s parking lot.

*10:49 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart, 401 W. Commerce, regarding a shoplifter.  According to the report, the suspect later identified as 20-year-old Jordan Tyler Wilkins was arrested for theft equal or greater than $50 less than $500 and the stolen property was returned to the store.

*12:28 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Magnolia.  This call led to the arrest of 44-year-old Robert Rodriguez, Jr. for driving while intoxicated.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41-year-old Christopher Sholes of Austin on a Travis County warrant related to possession of marijuana.

Monday, May 13

*12:00 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of E. Commerce regarding a domestic disturbance.

*Brownwood Police arrested 19-year-old Dustin Scott Atkins for assault class C, interfere with emergency call and disorderly conduct.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Michael Paul Forbess for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Sammie Celes Foster for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and tamper/fabricate physical evidence.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 38-year-old Joseph Lynn Hight, Jr. of three rivers, Texas on a Lampasas County warrant for failure to appear related to possession of marijuana and a Llano County warrant for burglary of a building.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
