chamberlogo Brownwood TXThe Brownwood Chamber’s Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Luncheon will be held on Friday, May 17 at Brownwood Country Club from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.  This event is intended to honor the men and women in all aspects of law enforcement—who work together to keep the community safe.

Representatives from the Brownwood and Early Police Departments, Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Brown County Justices of the Peace and other agencies will be on hand to announce special honors earned by their department and/or officers.  Each of those agencies or departments has been offered the opportunity to announce their Officer of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Investigator of the Year, or whatever awards may be appropriate for their agency.  Other invited Law Enforcement officials will be recognized, such as District Judge and Attorney, County Judge and Attorney, Constables and other agencies that serve and protect the citizens in Brown County.

The Chamber’s Monthly Luncheon is open to Members and Guests.  This month’s Presenting Sponsor is WT Harris Company, represented by Bryce Harris.  He sponsors the event annual as a tribute to his father, Barton, who was a great supporter of law enforcement. The other Presenting Sponsor is Affiliated Bank, sponsoring for the first time this year. The Table Sponsors are Davis Morris Funeral Home, Prevention Through Nutrition – Juice+, Southside Church and Heart of Texas Crime Stoppers.  Door Prize Sponsors include: 4 Corners, Air Evac Lifeteam, Baird Brothers Express Car Wash, Dumas Portraits, Guardian Home Health Care, MAK Images, and Trees Forever Nursery. The Cash Drawing stands at more than $150—with a guaranteed winner at every luncheon.

Members may sponsor the lunches of law enforcement officers or officials. Call or email the Chamber staff for more information. Meal sponsors will be acknowledged at the luncheon.

The buffet lunch is served at 11:30 AM and the program begins at noon.  The luncheon ends about 1 PM.  Cost is $12 per person paid at the door—or charge to your Country Club account.  RSVP is requested and the deadline is Wednesday, May 15 at 5 PM.  For more information, or to RSVP, contact the Chamber at 325-646-9535 or director@brownwoodchamber.org.
