Felony Offenders Sentenced in District Court

District Attorney Micheal Murray reports that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

William Jeffery Carlisle pled guilty to the felony offenses of Assault Public Servant and Burglary of a Building and was sentenced to 20 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Wynndi Marie Caldwell, on probation for the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone, was adjudicated and sentenced to 15 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Caldwell, on probation for the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone, was revoked and sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Christopher McCabe pled guilty to the felony offense of Forgery and Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Information-Aggregated and was sentenced to 8 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Trevor Norman pled guilty to the felony offense of Aggravated Robbery and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and was sentenced to 8 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Jonathan Lee Reyna, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-Drug Free Zone, was revoked and sentenced to 7 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Erasmo Castaneda pled guilty to the felony offense of Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence and was sentenced to 7 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Castaneda, on probation for the felony offense of Burglary of a Habitation was revoked and sentenced to 7 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Also, Castaneda pled guilty to the state felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 18 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Travis Long pled guilty to the felony offense of Burglary of a Habitation and was sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Long pled guilty to the state jail felony offenses of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and Theft under $20,000 and was sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Tamara Bond, on probation for the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone, was adjudicated and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Michial Lee Williams, on probation for the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated was revoked and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Sonia Ruth Deleon, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone, was revoked and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Javonte James pled guilty to the felony offenses of Aggravated Robbery, Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, and Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Peggy Daniels Hill pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 4 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Crystal Negrate, on probation for two separate felony offenses of Burglary of a Habitation, was adjudicated and sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division in each case.

Ronnie Pena, on probation for the felony offense of Theft over $1500 under $20,000, was adjudicated and sentenced to 19 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Ann Marie Sanders pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 18 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Sylvia Perez pled guilty to the state felony offense of Theft over $1500 under $20,000, and was sentenced to 18 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Heather Scott, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, was revoked and sentenced to 18 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Mitchell Hamrah aka Manuel Macias pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 18 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Joseph Deshawn Hodges, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of Marijuana-Drug Free Zone, was revoked and sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
