Church to Host Blood Drive for Their Former Preacher May 11th

DavidHarrisBloodDrive4th & Stewart Church of Christ will host a blood drive that will be conducted by United Blood Services from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 11th in the church’s fellowship hall at 3201 4th street.

The drive is a benefit drive for David Harris. David lived in Rising Star for a number of years and then preached at the 4th and Stewart Church of Christ from 2000-2007.  He now preaches in Stephenville and is currently in Dallas undergoing a bone marrow transplant.

Any blood donated is appreciated and can be used.  For every 4 pints given; David’s account is credited for 1 pint.  Anyone with questions can call the church office at 325-646-7102 or register online at unitedbloodservices.org.
