CorinneTSmithLogoOak Ridge Manor announces it will host a Dog Day Showcase at 5:30 PM on April 23rd.  The event will be held at Oak Ridge Manor located at 2501 Morris Sheppard Drive in Brownwood.

The public is invited to attend this dog show and show off their pets.  There will be no breed categories, as organizers state “all dogs are equal here.”  Mixed breeds and pure breds are all welcome to participate.

Entry fees are $2 and all proceeds will be donated to Corinne T. Smith Animal Shelter.

Awards of Best in Show, Best Dressed and Best Trick will be given.  Award sponsors are Ag-Mart, Tractor Supply and Ethos Pet Nutrition.

The Rules for the event are as follows:

Dogs must be 6 months or older, on a leash or kenneled at all times, and current on vaccines.

Handlers under the age of 10 must have an adult accompany them at all times.

Guardian EMS will be grilling up delicious hamburgers for all to enjoy.

Corinne T. Smith Animal Shelter representatives will be on hand with pets ready to adopt and also will have micro chip placement available for $20 per pet.
