Early Primary School Pre-Registration For Pre-K, And Kindergarten (Early Residents Only)

earlylonghornslogoEarly primary school will register next year’s pre-k and kindergarten students beginning on Monday, April 15 and will end on Friday, April 19.  Parents may register their children in the primary office from 8:30 am-4:00 pm Monday through Friday.  Birth certificates, immunization records, social security cards, proof of residency, and photo identification of the person who is enrolling children are required.

To qualify for prekindergarten, children must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2013, and must be unable to speak and comprehend English, be homeless, or qualify for free or reduced school lunches.  Children may also qualify if a parent is on active duty in the military.

To qualify for kindergarten, students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2013.

If your child has been enrolled in the Early ISD ESL program and is entering kindergarten or first grade in the fall of 2013, he/she may be eligible to attend the ESL summer school program.  Please call the school at 643-9622 to see if your child meets state participation requirements.
