Emergency responders were called to a two-vehicle accident Friday afternoon on Highway 67/84 between Brownwood and Bangs in front of Giles Trade Lot.

A responder on scene said that a Honda sedan struck the other vehicle, a Ford Taurus, from behind as it was attempting to make a turn.   One occupant of one of the vehicles sustained some non-life threatening head injuries.  The accident occurred approximately 1:25 PM.

 

The vehicle struck from behind spun around as a result of the collision causing the vehicles to stop in the divided highway median nose to nose.

Texas DPS, Bangs Volunteer Fire Department and Guardian EMS responded to the scene.
