Kids got an Easter treat in Early as Care Nursing and Rehab hosted the Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday morning.

Children were divided into three age groups for Easter egg hunts and then had a chance to get pictures with the Easter Bunny.  Dr. Robert Mangrum, mayor of the City of Early, greeted the community before the festivities began.  After the egg hunts, hot dogs and drinks were available; many families enjoyed lunch on the grounds with their children.

For children who found a metallic gold or silver egg, there were special prizes.  Music was provided by Island Phil.  Care Nursing and Rehab residents, staff and parents enjoyed the festivities along with the children.

Sponsors include Care Nursing and Rehab, Heart of Texas EMS, CMS Health Care, Cullen’s Home Town Market, Early Blooms & Things, Walgreen’s, the City of Early and Early Chamber of Commerce.

Pictured above, little ones enjoy the hunt.  Below are more photos of the event.
