Stella Aline Teague

teagueMemorial services for Stella Aline Teague will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, in the Heartland Funeral Chapel, with Dr. Don Newbury officiating. A visitation will be held Thursday after the memorial service at the funeral home. A private family interment will precede in May Cemetery, where she will laid to rest beside her husband, Joe Richardson.

She was born July 20, 1918, in Silsby, Texas, to Mark Coyhen and Dora Mae Hensley Newbury. Mrs. Teague passed away Monday, March 18, 2013, under the loving care of the staff at Care Nursing Facility and Solaris Hospice.

She and Joe Wesley Richardson were married Nov. 28, 1936, he passed away Nov. 29, 1962. She and John H. Teague were married Nov. 6, 1971, he passed away June 4, 2003.

Aline was a long time resident of May, Texas, and a member of the May United Methodist Church. She lived at Lake Brownwood from 2003 until moving to Care Nursing Facility.

Mrs. Teague is survived by her daughter, Wanda Jolene (Richardson) and her husband W. Ben Cook Jr. of Lake Brownwood, Texas; and her grandchildren, Robert Bryan Cook of Oklahoma City, Okla., Karie Ann and husband Jeff Woods of May, Texas, and Alan and wife Debbie Cook of Owasso, Okla. She is survived by seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. She is also survived by a step-son, John Teague III of Beeville, Texas; and numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and step-great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Joe Richardson and John Teague; her brothers, Joyce, Harry, Jimmie and Jack; her sisters, Mildred, Fay, and Edwina; and a step-daughter, Dorothy Hampton.

Memorials may be made to the May Cemetery Association May, Texas 76857, or your favorite charity.

Heartland Funeral Home of Early is in charge of arrangements.
