Bangs student Dustin Bostick won Grand Champion Red Brangus at the Houston Livestock Show on Friday, March 8th.

Bostick’s win comes just two weeks after winning Grand Champion Red Brangus at the San Antonio Stock Show with his heifer “Red.”    The two will travel to Austin for the Junior Livestock Show at the Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo this Thursday and Friday, March 21-22.  In June he will attend the National Red Brangus Show in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Dustin attends 8th grade in Bangs and has been showing Red Brangus heifers for three years.

Dustin has been successful in the past, winning Grand Champion Heifer at the National Red Brangus Show last year, Reserve Grand Champion in Austin and Reserve Division heifer at the Brown County Youth Fair.
