Sunday, March 17

*10:45 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of 13th Street regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, the suspect was identified by the complainant as a person who had a criminal trespass warning for the property.  The suspect left prior to the officer’s arrival and information was forwarded to the Brown County Attorney’s office for prosecution against the suspect for the offense criminal trespass of a habitation, the report states.

Monday, March 18

*12:15 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Vincent Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, a third party caller observed a male subject punch a female.  The male and female were located with the aid of the caller and other witnesses, the report states.  The male, identified as 25-year-old Jerry Allen Leonard, was arrested and charged with assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*12:21 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center  regarding theft of medication from a residence in the 1700 block of Good Shepherd.

 

*10:32 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of E. Commerce Street regarding a hit and run accident at the Silver Fox lounge.  According to the report, the driver, identified as 41-year-old Peter Herring, was located and placed under arrest for driving while license invalid with previous conviction.  Herring stated that he was unaware he struck another vehicle while leaving the parking lot, the report states.  Insurance information was provided to the owner of the vehicle damaged in the hit and run.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 49-year-old Kenneth Coplin of Abilene on a warrant related to manufacture/deliver controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams and less than 200 grams.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 18-year-old Ebanie J. Griffin, 17-year-old Brianna Nannette Griffin and 18-year-old Yissi Young.  Each was charged with assault of a public servant at the Ron Jackson State Juvenile Correction Center.

*25-year-old Angelica Magna turned herself in on a warrant for her arrest related to theft of property less than $20 by check.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Justin Thomas Moore for theft of material aluminum/bronze/copper/brass.

* Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Daniel Quintanilla on a warrant related to burglary of a building.

Tuesday, March 19

*3:14 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3000 block of 1st street regarding a disturbance.  According to the report, the complainant advised that his girlfriend was at the residence and refusing to leave.  The girlfriend was issued a criminal trespass warning for the residence.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 27-year-old John Crowe of Lubbock for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram, unlawful carrying weapon, and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
