Larry Hogue

hogueLarry L. Hogue, 72, of Brownwood passed away Friday, March 15, 2013, at a local hospital.

Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. Monday, March 18, at Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Eastlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Larry was born April 15, 1940, in Ralls, Texas, where he farmed cotton from 1958 to 1967. He was a loyal and passionate Brownwood Lions Football fan. He was a devoted member of the Emma Masonic Lodge 931 for over 50 years. He completed Brownwood Citizen’s Police Academy and was a supporter of local law enforcement. Larry loved his family very much and took great joy in spending time with his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.

Larry is survived by his wife, Sue Hogue, of Brownwood; two children, Lori Killough of Robinson, Texas, and Robin Hogue, of Early, Texas; grandchildren, Tyler Killough of Waco, Katy Grissom and husband Justin of Temple, Ryan Killough of Waco, Chelsea Kaster and husband Jason of Springfield, Mo., Chase Hogue of Springfield, Mo., Kris Evans of Seattle, Wash., and Tiffany Harper of Abilene; great-grandchildren, Grady Grissom, William and Leah Kaster.

Condolences may be left for the family at Davis-Morris Funeral Home, 800 Center Ave., Brownwood, Texas. Condolences may also be left at www.davismorrisfuneralhome.com.
