First responders were called to an accident involving a vehicle crashing into a home in the Shamrock Shores neighborhood of Lake Brownwood.

Shortly after 5:30 PM Thursday evening, a caller reported that a car had just struck a home and that the driver had exited the vehicle and left on foot.  Officers arrived at the residence on Emerald Drive and found that a small, blue Kia passenger car had traveled through two chain link fences and struck the side of the brick home.

No injuries were reported at the scene.  Both the vehicle and home sustained some damage.

Law enforcement was able to locate the driver, who was questioned on scene.

Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Department of Public Safety, and Lake Bridge Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.
