Lillie Mae Holder

holderLillie Mae “Crow” Holder was born on April 12, 1927, in Brownwood, Texas, to William “Bill” Thomas Crow and Mary Alice “Tinker” Crow. Lillie was the youngest of nine children.  On June 24, 1947, she married Alton Lee Kidd Sr., and together they had four precious children. Lillie later married Thomas A. Holder.

On March 11, 2013, Lillie departed this world and was greeted at the gates of Heaven by her parents, her husband Thomas, her son, Weldon Kidd, and daughter, Cheryl “Sherry” “Kidd” Garrett, her sister, brothers, nieces and nephews.

Lillie is survived by her sons Alton Lee Kidd Jr., and wife Barbara of Brownwood, Texas, Barry Lynn Kidd Sr. and wife Kimberly of Buckeye, Ariz. and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation is Friday, March 15, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. at Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Services will be Saturday, March 16, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Davis-Morris Funeral Home with Brother Lynn Turnbow officiating. Interment will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery.

Donations may be made in honor of Mrs. Lillie Holder with Lighthouse Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.

Condolences may be left online for the family at www.davismorrisfuneralhome.com. Davis-Morris Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
