The 5th Annual Great Easter Egg Hunt & Candy Throw-Down will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Coggin Park at the pavilion area.

Organizers state that this will be the biggest and best Easter Egg Hunt in Central Texas with over 18,000 pieces of candy and candy filled Easter eggs.

Participants are asked to bring an Easter basket or sack for each child.

There will be hunting areas for children pre-k & under; kindergarten & 1st graders and 2nd & 3rd graders.

Two Easter Bunnies will be available for pictures with the children and organizers urge parents to bring their cameras.

The event will also feature the Heartland Cruisers along with pony rides, bounce houses, face painting, fire department trucks, police vehicles and more.

The event is sponsored by the Breeze 96.9, Newstalk 102.3, Brookshires, Affiliated Bank, Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce, Bruner Auto Group, First Central Credit Union, Air Evac Lifeteam, Heartland Mall, Smile Crafters, Feat Studios, Dr. Pepper, Early Chamber of Commerce, First United Methodist Church of Brownwood, and Food Plaza.
