Brownwood TX LECSmLaw enforcement arrests and reports released Wednesday, March 6, 2013.

Tuesday, March 5

*10:29 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant who stated that a male subject had been coming into the local grocery store where she works and ask her out on a date.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she has told the male that she was not interested and asked him to leave her alone; however, he continues to come into the store and harasses her while she is working.  She and the manager requested that a trespass warning be issued to the male subject so officers issued the warning as requested.

*11:33 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on FM 45 in reference to animal cruelty.  The complainant reported that several animals were at the location; however there was no running water, the report states.  The deputy went to the location and confirmed the report, finding three dogs, two of which were chained to trees and the third confined to a kennel.  The officer spoke with the owner who stated that a pipe had burst at the residence and that she brings water and food to the dogs daily, the report states.

*2:50 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Southside Drive regarding terroristic threat.  According to the report, the complainant advised that her husband called and threatened to harm her.  She advised that she was extremely scared of her husband and felt that he would follow through with his threat.

*3:26 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of W. Main Avenue regarding an assault.  According to the report, the complainant advised that he was pushed by his cousin.  The cousin was contacted and stated that he pushed the complainant during an argument when the complainant raised a hammer in a threatening manner, the report states.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the BNSF Railway property on Coggin regarding the burglary of a building.  Contact was made with the senior trainmaster who stated that someone had unlawfully entered a building and removed a 40-inch flat screen television from a break room.  No suspect information was available at the time of the report.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the theft of a backpack.  According to the report, the backpack full of tools was stolen from the bed of the complainant’s truck while it was unsecured.  The value of the backpack and tools was estimated between $500-1500.

*Brownwood Police arrested 32-year-old David Barry Kincaid, Jr. on a warrant for motion to revoke, theft by check out of Bastrop County.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Miguel Angel Lara on a warrant related to manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 4 grams in a drug free zone.

*Early Police arrested 44-year-old Robert Kyle Tucker of Blanket for driving while license invalid with previous convictions.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
