Senior Adult Day to be Hosted at Heart of Texas Baptist Camp April 23

SrAdultDay2013Heart of Texas Baptist Camp will host a Senior Adult Day on Tuesday, April 23.  The retreat will focus on the theme “My Firm Foundation:  (2 Timothy 3:16-17) The How and Why of Scripture Memory.”

Bobby Johnson who is retired from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton, TX and Baptist General Convention of Texas Church Strategist Robert Cuellar of San Angelo, TX will be the speakers during the event.  Entertainment will be provided through a Gospel concert by FOURTWELVE.

Fourtwelve

Participants will have the option to attend one of the following breakout sessions:

  • Are You Alone or Lonely?, Lew Burnett, San Angelo, TX
  • Senior Adults on Mission, Barbara Swinney, Cross Plains, TX
  • Medications & Your Health, Mary Dunn, RN
  • Maintaining Your Temple, Tom Dunn, Camp Staff

The schedule for the day is as follows:

Registration opens 8:30 AM

Morning Worship 10:00 AM

Lunch 11:30 am-12:45 PM

Breakout Session 1:00-1:45 PM

Gospel Concert 2:00 PM

The cost to attend Senior Adult Day is $15 per person, which includes lunch, concert and all activities.  Please RSVP by calling 325-784-5821 or register online at RobertCuellar
