AveryCallawayEarly Primary school has been giving awards and providing fun to its students this month for their participation and hard work.  Students were awarded for perfect attendance and for participating in the PTC’s fundraiser this past fall.

The winner of the perfect attendance bike for the fourth six weeks was Avery Wilson, an Early Primary 2nd grader.   She is pictured left with EPS principal Brian Callaway.

Students who had perfect attendance during the fourth six weeks enjoyed jumping on an obstacle course bounce house.

Early Primary School students who sold at least 25 items in the PTC’s Joe Corbi Fall fundraiser received their award of Jumping for George.  They jumped along a ribbon of one dollar bills and received a dollar for each dollar they jumped past.  Pictured below is Corben Gosnell, a student in Mrs. Mason’s kindergarten class.

Early Primary will host an open house from 5:30 – 6:30 on Tuesday, March 5, 2013.  In conjunction with the open house, the PTC will be holding a book fair in the big gym from 5:30 – 7:30.  The PTC donates several thousands of dollars to Early Primary School each year that goes toward the purchase of technology needs, such as Netbooks and a cart for their storage/transport.  Also pictured below are students Dylan Storey, Tre` Pabon, John Acker and Kayle Wallace from Mrs. Wade’s class.
