Janice Clements

clements_jJanice Clements, 75, of Brownwood went to be with her Lord on Wednesday Feb. 13, 2013.

Janice was born to J.E. King Jr. and Radora “Dodie” King of Brownwood on Dec. 19, 1937. Her family started King Music in the 1940’s. She graduated from Brownwood High in 1956, then attended and graduated from Angelo State University. On Aug. 10, 1957 Janice married the love of her life, Don Clements.  Janice a lifelong resident of Brownwood was a loving wife, mother, friend, and member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Don; son Craig Clements and wife Jami of Brownwood; daughter Leslie Butler and husband Steve of Rochelle; grandchildren Chad and wife Krystal, Kayla, Cody, Cacy, Logan, and Slaten; great-grandchild Slade, also survived by many special friends and relatives .

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for Janice will be at 10a.m. Saturday Feb. 16 at the First Christian Church with Pastor Sterling Lentz officiating, interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home. Condolences for the family can be left at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to First Christian Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
