Jesse “Chu Chu” Valdez Jr.

valdezJesse “Chu Chu” Valdez, Jr, 61 of Early passed away February 7, 2013 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

Jesse was born on October 8, 1951 to Jesse Sr and Lucia in Brownwood. He had a passion for animals, collecting antique cars and trucks, “GI Joe” memorabilia, and enjoyed playing the lottery. Jesse loved meeting people and helping others.  Like many he was a huge Brownwood Loin and Cowboy fan.

He is survived by five brothers, John Valdez, Phillip Valdez, Rafael Valdez, Pete Valdez, and David Valdez all of Brownwood; three sisters, Brenda James of Tyler, Meja Valdez of Brownwood, and Katherine Valdez of Brownwood; sister-in-law Mary Valdez of Brownwood; step sister Christina Gonzales of Brownwood, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Jesse is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and one sister.

Services for will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday Feb. 13, 2013 at First Baptist Church with Dallas Houston officiating, interment to follow at Greenleaf Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 PM at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Corrine T Smith Animal Shelter.
