Felony Offenders Sentenced in District Court

District Attorney Micheal Murray reports that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

Keith Dewayne Martin pled guilty to the felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Delivery and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and was sentenced to 35 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division in each case.

Timothy Thacker pled guilty to the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 16 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Dustin Herrick, on probation for the felony offense of Robbery-Attempt, was revoked and sentenced to 9 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further Herrick pled guilty to the felony offense of Forgery and was sentenced to 9 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Leslie Floyd, on probation for the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon, was adjudicated and sentenced to 7 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, institutional Division.

Rene Javier Esparza pled no contest to the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 7 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Mario Cervantes pled guilty to the felony offense of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and was sentenced to 7 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Bethany Brianne Clark, on probation for the felony offense of Burglary of a Habitation, was revoked and sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Robert Chris Bennie pled guilty to the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Darryl Hunter pled guilty to the felony offense of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Hector Saul Castillo, on probation for the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated, was revoked and sentenced to 4 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Brandon Martinez, on probation for the felony offenses of Tempering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence and Possession of a Controlled Substance, was revoked and sentenced to 4 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Martinez, on probation for the state jail felony offenses of Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Controlled Substance, was revoked and sentenced to 9 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Marvin Earl Brown, on probation for the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated, was revoked and sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

John Michael Salazar, on probation for the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated, was revoked and sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Eric Michael Ganos pled no contest to the felony offense of Burglary of a Building and was sentenced to 18 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Nakkeya Lynnette Harris pled guilty to the felony offense of Forgery and was sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Sirilo Elaes Lopez pled guilty to the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Reydecel Rodriguez, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of Marijuana, was revoked and sentenced to 9 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
