teagueBonnie Teague Pounds, age 101, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 19, 2013, in San Angelo, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 23,  at Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early with Rev. Alvis Fisher of San Angelo, Texas officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Wednesday at Davis-Morris Funeral Home, 800 Center Ave., Brownwood.

Bonnie was born in Ballinger, Texas, on October 26, 1911, to Daniel Rufus and Lutene Handley Teague. She married Julius Caesar “Skip” Pounds on July 24, 1926.

Bonnie is survived by her 2 sons, Julius Caesar Pounds, Jr. and wife Annie of Arlington, Texas, and Tommy Pounds and wife Elaine of San Angelo, Texas; daughter-in-law, Marie Pounds of Big Springs, Texas, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Caesar “Skip” Pounds; daughter, Bonnie Mozelle Murray; son, Wm. Eldon Pounds; brothers, Hal R.L. Teague and wife Estelline and Melvin Teague; sisters, Iva Petty and husband Clarence, Lois Franks, Iola Lane and husband Dean, and Willie Belle Wood.

Memorial donations may be made to Meals for the Elderly, Lighthouse Hospice or a charity of choice. Condolences for the family may be left at www.davismorrisfuneralhome.com.
