The market steer show of the 61st annual Brown County Youth Fair took place on Friday. As always, it was a well attended event with plenty of competition and beautiful animals.
The judge for the day was Greg Gruben, a county extension agent in Scurry County and TSU graduate. Gruben was also the judge for cattle at the 2012 BCYF.
There were 34 entries in the market steer division. Animals were judged according to breed and weight classifications.
