The second day of livestock showing at the 61st Annual Brown County Youth Fair started at 8:00 AM and lasted past 7:00 PM on Thursday with market lamb and market swine shows.

The rain had stopped and the crowds were huge, especially at the market swine show which is a favorite each year.  Kindergarten students from East Elementary and others from Woodland Heights Elementary enjoyed a field trip to the youth fair.

Livestock judges for the day were Brandon Callis of Brenham for the market sheep and Charles Hodde of Burton.

In addition to these livestock shows, the home economics division foods, canning and crafts entries were brought in and judged.  These entries will be on display Friday from 9:00 AM through 6:00 PM.
