Did you get new electronics for Christmas this year?  The City of Brownwood is urging the public to recycle those old electronics.

The City of Brownwood recycling center collects electronic devices for recycling at no charge. They collect the following items daily:

Computers and or components

Monitors and Televisions

VCR and DVD players

Copy and Fax machines

Telephones (any kind)

If it has an electric cord or runs on batteries they will probably take it. Call the recycling center at 325- 641-8832 for more information.

The City of Brownwood Recycling Center is located at 6800 FM 45 South at the entrance to the landfill. Hours of Operation are Monday-Saturday from 8:00am-4:30pm.
