First responders were called to the scene of a one-vehicle rollover accident on U.S. Highway 377N, approximately 4 miles northeast Early Saturday afternoon at 3:15 PM.

An adult driver and his two sons were injured in the accident, but Texas Department of Public Safety officials on scene said that the injuries appeared to be minor. All three were transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.

The driver, identified as Noe Valle of Blanket, was trapped and extracted from the GMC pickup.  The two kids were out of the vehicle when responders arrived.  Two ambulances were called to transport the accident victims.

DPS officials said that the pickup was traveling outbound from Early towards Blanket when the accident occurred and rolled multiple times across the median and came to rest partially in the inbound lane of traffic.  Officials said that a tire blowout on the back passenger tire is the likely cause of the accident.

Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident scene.  Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Early Volunteer Fire Department, Early Police, Brownwood Fire Department’s Rescue 1, and Guardian EMS also responded to the scene.
