Join the staff at Lake Brownwood State Park for their first annual holiday at the lake on Saturday.  Visitors can bring camping gear and decorations for a competition for the best decorated campsite. The winner will have their camping fees waived for the evening and a $25 from the Lake Brownwood Community Development Council.  Winners of the contest will be announced starting at 7 p.m. at the Group Recreation Hall.

For visitors and overnight guests, at 7 p.m. there will be a campfire talk with a park ranger and Santa will make an appearance. Kids can have their photos taken on Santa’s lap and then decorate sugar cookies provided by the Friends of Lake Brownwood. Hot chocolate will also be provided.
