East Elementary is making some much needed improvements to their playground thanks to PTO fundraising efforts. Will Pruett, father of East Elementary 1st grader, Tyler Pruett, recently volunteered time and expertise to pour a new concrete slab and level existing picnic tables.  Pruett received help during the process from his father Steve Pruett, and his son Tyler.  Tommy Cramer, another East Elementary father, joined in the effort to complete the project.

Work began on Friday, December 6th, and was finished up by Sunday, December 9th. Nanda Wilbourn, East Elementary principal, indicated that in addition to this project, more improvements and changes are in store for the playground
